Here Comes a New Challenger II Turbo official announcement

The sequel to our first foray into free albums Here Comes a New Challenger, has been gestating just below the surface for a while now. But now is the time to officially spring the news on all the uninitiated!

I am happy to announce Here Comes a New Challenger II Turbo. The album is a huge effort from a ton of people, and will be coming out in late April, in both free mp3 and fancy pressed cd form. Check out the video below that I tossed together very rapidly last night to hear a few clips and see a few familiar names and brand new faces who are joining the battle this year!

Getting ready for Nerdapalooza South East

So looks like I am heading out tomorrow to partake in the festivities known as Nerdapalooza. An event taking place in Florida this July 4th and 5th. If you are in the area, you really have no choice but to attend!

Anyway, I'm just about all packed up. But before I head out I figured why not let you take a look at what I have been up to!

This is the case of our brand new compilation, Welcome to World 2 which celebrates our second anniversary as a website! Nerdapalooza is going to be the place of this compilations launch (although we are throwing our official launch party soon)! Artwork is by the amazing Jay Tholen, to which I give many props to. I'm busy burning more copies of the album as I write this in fact. I should have about 30-40 copies of the album to sell at Nerdapalooza. They are going to go for five bucks each for interested parties. And don't fret folks who won't be at NaP SE, the album should be going up for online sale shortly after I return home!

Also, WtW2 won't be the only compilation I'll be selling out there.
That's right! I will also have copies of our first anniversary compilation Music EXP for sale, as well as a handful of pressed Here Comes a New Challenger CD's. Both of which will also be going for five bucks each.

And finally, for those looking to represent GM4A in style (or just stick things on your friends stuff to bug them) we'll have plenty of stickers to get out to you fine folks!
This will probably be my last post from home, but expect sporadic Nerdapalooza updates throught the rest of the week!

Here Comes a New Challenger compilation announcement!

So you know about our Super Mario RPG compilation known as Heavy Troopa is Ready to Launch! but DID YOU KNOW we are also coming out with another compilation very very soon!?

That's right, that compilation is titled Here Comes a New Challenger. First I'll hit you with some teaser art from the amazing Doctor Octoroc.

Now that the art has sufficiently blown your mind, let me explain further. This compilation was created to open up different sections of video game inspired music to more folks. We have musicians, producers, singers, rappers, DJ’s, and more all collaborating together for their love of video games and music! All the songs on here are collaborations between different musicians! This album has been a long time in the making, and all the bands are trying something new by working with these different individuals, so this should be a really amazing compilation to hear! We have some great and unheard of collaborations going down for this compilation! Groups like the above mentioned Dual Core VS Videogame Orchestra, Random VS Doctor Octoroc, Elfonso VS CasioKid and way way more!

If that's not enough, you can even listen to a preview teaser for the compilation!
