Intense Techno music by Blipperactive in the indie game 'Greedy Guns - Original Game Soundtrack'

I'm glad indie games exist. Not just for their great game content, but for the fact that it has let such a vast array of musicians to contribute to all these games. So it goes with the new indie game Greedy Guns. Blipperactive has composed some intense dance beats that build up and then shake your eardrums for a minute. Current favorite track for me is Thief, and I bump some Mother Roll on the SUBCON podcast as well.

The Games & Anime hip hop Mixtape by Bleak, The Apostle

Another collection of rhymes I discovered on datpiff, luckily Bleak posted his album to bandcamp as well, so I can embed the Games & Anime mixtape right here for the impatient folks among us. Listen to some dope rhymes out of Dallas, Texas. Dude doesn't seem to have the largest social media profile, but hope he's hustling on his follow up.

Game music collective Pixel Mixers present a tribute to classic 2D Legend of Zelda with the Hylian Downfall compilation

An album dedicated to the music of Legend of Zelda. Now this is something I won't get sick of. I won't even feign to be sick of it, the way I do with Final Fantasy or Tetris. There are three discs worth of music here, which adds up to over 2 hour, for anyone who doesn't remember discs that played roughly 80 minutes of music. Sixty musicians cover dozens of songs, all from back before these newfangled 3-dimensional Zelda games hit the scene. It's all classic top down themes (except the side-scrolling Zelda 2, of course), and it's time to take a deep dive into Pixel Mixers' tribute to classic Zelda games.
