Doug Leinen

Doug Leinen grew up in the corn fields of IA. But decided it would be best to learn how to record audio. After a few months of school in Arizona, moved back to the mid-west settling in Chicago. When he isn’t making commercials really really loud, or recording local and touring acts for coachhousesounds.com, or making beats as his alter ego DJ Dig Dug for Neally & DJ Dig Dug, he watches Carl Sagan’s Cosmos and records his guitar through ring modulators.

| Songs to Sing in Space Songs to Sing in Space is a trip through a laid back space rock atmosphere, and the third album release from Doug Leinen. Atmospheric, impactful music that is tinged with both a bit of emotion and scientific theory. The kind of album that is best to listen to while taking a long gaze through your telescope or reading some books by Carl Sagan. | 2009/01 | |
